Sci-Fi Friday in brief
Jan. 13th, 2006 07:51 pmMeh. "100 Days" redux, only with less emtional attachment on John's part. *shrug* Tell me that, when the little girl said, "I healed you!", I was not the only one who immediately thought, "It's Shake and Bake, and I helped!"
Anyone?

Fabulousness incarnate, thy name is BSG. Loved the A/R scene at the end, of course. Great music in that one. Gina getting to shoot Cain was a nice way out of the muddle Starbuck was in, although I disagree with Starbuck's later statement that they were safer with than without the Evil Admiral. But perhaps she was trying to be polite to the Pegasus crewmembers.
Speaking of Kara...dude, what was with Dee listening in on her and Lee's conversation at the end? It must be setting up something. I'm very intrigued.
I was less than intrigued by the whole hallucinatory drowning thing...seemed like that time could've been used better and the same point still made. Ah, well. Small complaint, in the grand scheme of things.

Date: 2006-01-14 04:56 am (UTC)Does she know about the civilian ships? I didn't think so, but I didn't see most of the first half of the season. Anyway, that's what I thought brought it on, 'cause everyone in the Pegasus fleet is going to know about it (at least that they had civilian ships with them at one point) and I can't see her ignoring that so blatantly when a huge bunch of people there know she's ignoring it, and when she knows that they're going to know she's ignoring it. Y'know? Or something.

She's a Cylon! No, better - she's a spy for... someone! No, better - she's secretly lusting after Lee! No, better - she's secretly lusting after Kara!!
Okey dokey, and with that, I'm going to bed before my brain goes any more silly-random on me.
