Oct. 14th, 2004 06:18 pmTwo acts of Twelfth Night and one of Hamlet today (preceded by one and then two acts of TN the past two days), and my eye is twitching. I'm thinking in blank verse and calling people thee and thou. I do rather like Hamlet, though; I've read it twice before for other classes, so I can sit and cruise through this reading; plus, the whiny teenagers go crazy and die at the end, along with everybody else. What's not to love? Also, yay pretty language. I tried to steal part of "This most excellent canopy the air, look you, this brave o'erhanging, this majestical roof fretted with golden fire" for the title of my latest SG-1 drabble, but ended up filching from Richard II instead. I'll figure out a way to use it in something at some point.
I took a little break when my National Trust membership packet got here. There was a big fat booklet with all the National Trust properties (all six billion of them) in it, which I went through and highlighted to death. Ooooh, pretty. Lots of places I want to go. Anyone who can especially recommend any of them (or anywhere in the British Isles), please feel free to do so.
Choir tonight, wheee!
Oh, and if I'm not conscious enough to say so tomorrow morning at the ungodly hour at which I will be getting up, let me take this moment to say I'll be in London until Sunday night, so see you all then!

Who needs England?
Date: 2004-10-15 01:04 am (UTC)Places I've been that you must go: Raglan Castle has lots of ruins, and beautiful views, Tintern Abbey (or, the most beautiful place on Earth) on the Wye river...Cardiff is interesting, tour the castle!
Now that I think about it, leave Exeter and transfer to University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
