Finally got around to watching my tape of this week's BSG.

- The New Age synthesized vibraphone mess in the intro needed to go, but other than that, great ep.

- Aw, Roslin/Adama forever! They're so cute. She's so not going to win this election, is she?

- Were there scenes in the "previously on" that had never aired before? I don't remember Lee's "I'm leaving Galactica, but not you" to Dee, for one, and there was something else that looked unfamiliar, but which I can't recall at the moment.

- I'm officially calling that Helo and Sharon are going to try and get left behind on Caprica. Their little conversation in the Raptor just had that sneaky conspiracy-that-will-go-so-wrong feel to it. Perhaps I'm being overly suspicious.

- While I doubt he's a Cylon, the Dean Stockwell character is freaking me out nonetheless. *shiver*

- The shoehorning of the episode title into the aide's (what is her name? Tori?) convo with Roslin was less than elegant. Hrmph.

- Ooooh, Baltar is such a bastard! Isn't breaking in on your opponent's rebuttal generally frowned upon in most styles of organized debate?

- Next week will rock.

ETA: Icon does not relfect what's under the spoiler cut. I just wanted to use the BSG one I never seem to use. *g*

Yes, there were two scenes in the "previously in" that were from scenes that were deleted, the one with Lee and Dee being one of those.

In fact, in previous episodes they have either used deleted scenes, or re-dubbed existing scenes with different words. For example, in "The Captain's Hand", they re-dubbed the scene with Adama and Tigh to indicate them having a discussion regarding whether Garner was really fit for the job. It hadn't been that before. It worked because the camera wasn't on the person who was speaking.
