I was sitting beside Stewart during his epic comps tale. It sounded horrifying.
As for DST...remember that I grew up on the extreme eastern edge of the Central time zone. Sunrise and sunset are earlier for Nashville than most of the rest of the nation. Thus my love for DST, as in deepest darkest winter, the sun sets around 4 PM for us, despite our southerly latitude. (And in the days right at the edges of Standard Time, our sunrises can be ridiculously early.) And personally...I never get up before 9. Sunrise before then is a bit useless, at least at the moment. *g*
