I wonder if she thinks she will spend the rest of her life with him, even if she knows it'll only be a tiny span of years out of his life. Presumably she won't, because that's how it works, but I wonder what each of them thinks about the situation.

Hmmm. Interesting question. I don't know the answer. Although we have already seen Rose being left behind and she moved hell and high water to get back, so maybe she is thinking she'll be there for the long term. Don't know.
