I've seen that, too, and IMO, while it's seriously weak (dude, it's the Doctor. No way would he manage to make it through 3,000 years if he's on his tenth body by year 900), even one line referencing this would have made it almost okay. Or at least not have Rose and Mickey looking so totally abandoned. (That was so "get the emotion the writer wants by forsaking logic, whee!" I could scream. This needed to be beta-read, dammit!)

(It's all about the denial!)
