I have to admit, I sort of enjoyed seeing Rose and the Doctor go, "...oh, shit" even as I was wondering how they'd get out of this one right along with them.

Mortgages HAVE NEVER BEEN THAT CUTE. EVER. Think how awful it would be to watch this on actual tv, when you can't immediately replay things? Oh, the horror!
Of course, I suppose technically we sort of saw that in GITF, what with the whole "slow path" thing.
Yeah, but GITF was more of a "oh, lala, slow path, nifty, fine, let's lie so as not to make Reinette feel horribly guilty about getting me stuck here," whereas TIP was more him letting on a little of how truly freaked out he was. TIP felt like a slightly more.. honest reaction.

Was that a musical theme from Star Wars at the end there?
...no, don't think so. (Would've cost jillions in copyrights, anyway.) I'll watch it again (just for you, of course) and give it another listen...
