*hugs* on the job stuff. Hang in there, something will come along, even if it takes longer than you'd like.
Thanks. I think my problem is actually that I still don't have a definite idea of what I want to do; there's a lot of different directions I could go in, and the amount of options is making me want to bury my head in the sand. (Of course, I look deeper at any of those options and they all want the dreaded x years of experience, so that's kind of just a surface thing.)
Minuet In Hell is the one Eight Audio I haven't listened to. I hear that the only reasons to listen to it are the Buffy-esque quality and the Brigadier. Not being a fan of Buffy and having never seen the Brig, I didn't see much point to it. Plus, my hatred for badly-done accents of any nationality knows no bounds.
they talk about how they were trying not to giggle when Adric died? Is that true?
Yeah, it is; in the scene in the TARDIS console room as Adric floats down to Earth, apparently they were all trying not to crack up; Janet Fielding said that she just tried to get her face out of the shot as quickly as possible.
One of the other fantastic parts about that DVD is that they've added "Episode Five." It's a minute-long claymation of Adric waking up in a cave on Earth and being eaten by a dinosaur. I don't hate Adric either, but that was hilarious.
I'd imagine hanging out with Janet Fielding would be an absolute blast.

It must be.
