I've been interested in Irish history since a year or two before I went to NI, but I've never delved into it as deeply as you have, so hopefully I won't have that issue with the series, whenever I get around to seeing it. I have seen The Field, but it's been a while. But, yeah, potato famine + English land agents=depressing. And not a little evil.
I'm not having any trouble telling the two brothers apart in those pics, but stills aren't the same as moving images, so that'll be the real test. ;)
