The Daily Mirror has a short article here. (Yeah, I know, tabloid. I don't know how much I believe them.)

I'm particularly interested in this paragraph:

Our on-set spy reveals the special episode will also see the return of classic companion Sarah Jane Smith and her robot dog K9. The theme of the show will be "past, present and future".

Eeeee! Really? Really really? Although I hope they don't screw up the lovely resolution from "School Reunion." Still, Sarah Jane! K-9!

This paragraph makes me wonder if it's going to suck a whole lot:

"We're aiming for the ultimate Christmas story," says our snout. "A combination of A Christmas Carol and It's A Wonderful Life, set in London's West End - with scores of evil aliens."

Er, yes. *raises eyebrow*

ETA: Word on the street--er, on Livejournal and TWOP--is that Skiffy will start airing season two on September 29th. Woot!
