when you squeeze the tea bag, it's to get the last bit of tea, yes?
Yep.
Does putting the bag on a spoon and wrapping the string around the bag to squeeze it help?
Actually, that would probably work just as well, come to think of it. I'm just so used to using the paper as a barrier between the hot teabag and my skin while I squeeze it with my thumb and index finger that I overlooked it.
Twenty minutes?! That's some really strong tea!
Eh, that's nothing. We steep our usual pot of iced tea for up to four hours, depending on how lazy we feel. (That would be two "family-size" teabags in a quart of water, diluted with another quart of plain water after it's steeped.) ;) I like it to be tea, not just brown water!
Oh, maybe you'd know: I'm looking for a new tea mug. I'd like it to be pretty (not just a solid colour), able to hold about 350ml, and microwave safe. Any suggestions?
Not totally able to picture 350ml, but my guess would be somewhere like Target, or possibly Kohl's. I use a mug Kate The Roommate bought for me at the Chicago Museum of Art, so I haven't needed to give it much thought. (If you were in the UK, I'd recommend Woolworth's straightaway--I still miss my big cat mug I got from there!)
