Eeek. When did Facebook become Stalkerbook?

(Seriously. I never log in more than once every few weeks, and only then because occasionally people send me messages through it, so I don't know. I only heard about it because it was mentioned in the ballroom minutes Helle sent out tonight.)

Not that I ever bother changing my profile or doing any kind of communication or anything like that, but "X person posted xyz on Y person's Wall at 6:32 AM, Wednesday, Sept. 6th" is not really something that needs to go in a "news feed," yeah? And to be honest, at least half of the people on there who are considered my "friends" are really just acquaintances who added me, and, not wanting to be impolite, I reciprocated. Especially now that I've graduated, I really couldn't care less about what Facebook groups they join or anything like that.

Ecchh. Apparently everyone wants to be Myspace.

YouTube offers more entertainment: a clip from the end of the Northern Exposure episode "Northern Lights," with Chris's winter art project and Enya music. One of my favorite moments from the show, although possibly it loses something outside of the context of the episode. Still pretty, though.

ETA: Link corrected. Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] missizzy!
