i *think* I can hit that note... maybe only the half note below it, but I wouldn't be able to go any farther without sounding really squeeky. :)
The highest note in the Verdi piece this semester is the B flat two octaves above middle C. Last semester we had that C in the picture, and just doing scales, I can go a little higher. That's not to say I like starting up there...Doc almost had a mutiny on his hands last semester when he tried to start us at a measure where the first note was an A or B flat or something like that. *snicker*
Buuuut, I can do either soprano or alto, so I make up for it. :D
Oh, nice! I physically can't do a lot of the usual alto range, so I'm slightly jealous. ;)
