- From the "Sci-Fi Essentials" on the new Children of Men film: "People thought it would be this sci-fi/fantasy thing, but [the director] has actually provided an excuse to talk about real world issues affecting us now." Because that's not what science fiction has been providing for almost a HUNDRED YEARS now or anything... *biggest rolleyes IN THE WORLD* How do people get to be so dumb? And why was this said on the Sci-Fi Channel?

Yeah, because, uhm, mass infertility is a major issue right now. But I'm probably gonna see the film b/c Michael Caine is in it.

- Wait. There are people....who will PAY...for pre-crumbled cheese? They will PAY for this? Something you can do yourself with a block of cheese and five seconds of time?

I actually went on a rant about this commerical to my housemate who was watching with me.
