I think that's why I didn't remember she was religious. When they talk about religion they talk about the gods. And most of the time they are have Greek or Roman names. So it's a little hard for me to think of it as a religion when I've seen as much Xena and Hurcules as I have.
I too think Kara doesn't want to make a committment to someone she thinks can hurt her; i.e. to someone she loves. And I guess she does love Lee. But there's also all the baggage associated with Zak, and Anders doesn't have any of that. He's pleasant, but no great love of her life.
ITA with everything you said. Kara/Lee have always had a white elephant in their relationship named Zak. And given how much Kara likes to talk about her feelings I'm guessing they have never talked about it. And the more we see of Lee's feelings the more I think he's always been in love with Kara. Even when Zak was alive he was in love with her.
Kara has mommy issues and abandoment issues. So her running from Lee makes perfect sense. It's always why she ran from Anders at the start of the season. Because she didn't want to hurt him anymore. Although not enough to stop sleeping with him.
Dee's the one I don't get in this whole mess. She lived on Galactica with Kara and Lee for two years maybe more. She knew there was something between them that was unfinished. Yet she still went off and married Lee. And if she countiues to stay with him after this I will loose all respect for her.
I think Sharon, who has gone through hell to earn the trust of her fellow officers and still doesn't have it from everyone, has a breaking point somewhere. I figured this could be it. I was (at least until part two, maybe) wrong.
Everyone has breaking point and this might very well be Sharon's. But what ever happens I don't she her turning her back on Helo. Helo is the one person in her life that has never lied to her. He's never turned his back on her. Not even when he found out she was cylon. I just don't see her ever leaving him. Not after everything they've been through to be together.
