So it's a little hard for me to think of it as a religion when I've seen as much Xena and Hurcules as I have.
I see your point about Xena and Herc pretty much ruining any respect for the Greek pantheon as a religion for thousands of people who watched them. ;) But despite being a bit of a Xena fan, I think the BSG crew does a fairly good job of making it a believable religion. At any rate, I believe that the characters believe in these gods.
Even when Zak was alive he was in love with her.
Now that's interesting. That hadn't ever occured to me, but now that you mention it, I can definitely see it.
Dee's the one I don't get in this whole mess.
Perhaps she's in denial about the depth of the Kara/Lee relationship. Or if she isn't, she thinks she can win Lee over anyway by being better than Kara. Or something. I wonder if we'll get an episode that explores her motivation in this whole thing. Of course, I still don't get why she dumped Billy for Lee...
I suppose Sharon and Helo might run off after the baby together. You're probably right about her loyalty to him being greater than anything else.
