More Due South stuff
Feb. 9th, 2007 10:10 pmI was watching the blooper reel for seasons 3-4 (and wasn't there a very disturbing moment in that one, thank you kindly, Paul Gross and Callum Keith Rennie), and I saw ballerinas. What episode might that be from? Is it good?
I also watched "The Wild Bunch," and I have one comment to make:
Poor, poor Fraser. So oblivious to all the women who show interest in him because he'sobviously gayer than a tree full of monkeys so...focused. Yes. On his job. Right.
Oh, and also: Puppies! Cute little Husky puppies!
(And a kid who wasn't as annoying as he could've been! Even better!)

Date: 2007-02-12 08:01 pm (UTC)So I stumbled across your journal because I was following your Northern Exposure icon (HOMG ossum), and discovered that not only do you like that show, but you like Due South, Slings and Arrows, and most importantly Paul Gross.
I am quite Due South and Paul Gross obsessed, so I love finding other LJ people with the same interests as me.
So yeah, hope you don't mind my intruding upon your journal; mind if I add you? If you'd rather I didn't it's ok :)

Date: 2007-02-13 04:57 pm (UTC)As for which icon I followed, it was the 'Magic' one. I just love the relationship between Maggie and Joel it's so dymanic - they're an excellent pair :D
Thanks a lot, I'll go add you now! I look forward to getting to know you :D

Date: 2007-02-14 05:43 am (UTC)Do they not have it on DVD in Europe? I know the first two seasons are out in R1 over here, and the third probably will be by summer. (And, ahem, if you want to see more episodes, send me an e-mail--icepixie@livejournal.com--and I can help you out.) I actually thought the first episode, while absolutely necessary for exposition purposes, is relatively lackluster compared to the other seventeen, so when you get to see the rest, you are in for a treat. :)

I love them too. Neither are my favorite character--that's Ed, hands down--but their relationship is, by a small margin, my favorite out of all the ones that were featured on the show. They're just so damn cute together! *g*

Date: 2007-02-15 06:41 pm (UTC)And hoh man, Ed's great! I love the pilot episode when we're first introduced to him, and he just leaves Joel in a car on a road in the middle of nowhere! Such a cool, laid-back character :D And his dad was good in The Untouchables; it's funny how similar they look :]

Well, I was dorky enough to look up the cast when I first started watching the show, and just followed some links and discovered that his dad was an actor. Apparantly he portrayed Frank Nitti in The Untouchables made by Brian DePalma. From what I hear it's the role he's best known for :)
