Well, either way, if the colonials knew about that, I think it would be airlock time for Mr. Baltar.

Don't get me wrong I have no use for him. But airlocking someone just cause you don't like them isn't the way to run things either. But I'm a Cylon lover I tend to be anti-airlock.

I think the Earthlings will say, "You brought what right to our door?!?! OMG!" *kicks off planet* *stockpiles nuclear arms* *blows self up accidentally*

If your right about it being present day Earth. That's just how it will go. Hell given the current political climate I don't think they would believe they were really humans in the first place.
