This weekend, I got two new pairs of shoes in as many days. This necessitated reorganizing the upper shelf of my closet, where I keep shoes I don't wear at least once a week neatly in their boxes, to fit two new pairs in. (Both pairs are Not Sandals, which are of course the only thing practical in the current weather.)

Since I was in an organizational mood after that, I decided to bring some order to my computer. I'm not quite there yet, but at least my "downloads" folder is down from 500+ items to 168, the rest having been either deleted or put into subfolders. To complete this organization, I ended up watching a lot of vids with names I didn't recognize, and skipping down memory lane in the process.

- Atlantis had such potential. Awesome-looking, completely unexplored city built by the ancient ancestors of humans, a whole new galaxy to explore, interesting characters who were totally cut off from Earth...what went wrong there? It went from super-cool to utterly meh in about two seasons. Boooo.

- You know what I miss? The Invisible Man. Remember that one? It was so goofy and funny! And then Vincent Ventresca's hair was another source of amusement all by itself.

- I think I've half talked myself into rewatching all of BSG before the TV movie in December. There are large chunks of the ongoing plotline I need to get myself back up to speed on.

- I'm also heading toward (one day) rewatching all of Farscape and all of the X-Files. ...Well, most of the X-Files. Minus almost all of S8-9. And probably minus a few Farscape episodes as well (Lobster of Truth, anyone?).

I miss I Man too! It was adorable damnit! Strangely enough I find Psych reminds me of it for reasons that are beyond me *L*

As for the great BSG rewatch, I may be talking myself into that soon too, but I don't know, it was so good and then it just went straight to pot but maybe time will provide the distance needed to see the method in the madness? I doubt it but hey *shrug*

And yes when I rewatch Farscape from the beginning and in order I will definitely be skipping episodes like Eat Me and the like *SHUDDER*

... I was going to mention Psych here because of the I-Man mention. So, yeah, consider that thought doubled.

I feel the same way about Atlantis. It was such an awesome idea, especially when it was this unexplored city in an unexplored galaxy with limited/no contact with Earth. And then they took it in such a boring direction... *sigh*

Invisible Man was much fun. I still have two or three fics about it that I go back and reread on a regular basis, a favorite of which is also a cross over between Stargate SG-1 and Sentinel.

The other one involves Hobbs and Darian going undercover as catholic priests, which is just fun.

Hi there, I just found your Due South story on due south fanfiction archive (loved it btw) and saw that you had and lj, and that we have a crazy amount of television interests in common so I friended you. hope that's okay. *waves hello*

and I totally agree with you about 'Lantis. they could have had so much fun with the city and being in a whole other galaxy, but they just... didn't.

It's a wonderfully quirky show with great character interaction and clever dialogue. I think it's right down your alley.

My roommate's boyfriend got her hooked on "Battlestar," so we watched the entire first season in one shot on Saturday. It was great . . . any idea when season 3 will be released on DVD? I want to get her caught up by the time the movie comes out.

I am indeed a Leaonard Cohen fan. I think you may be the first person to get the reference :) My favourite song is actually 'The Stranger Song' but 'Take This Waltz' is the one that gets stuck in my head the most - and was the easiest to turn into an un-awkward username.

...and now it's ne my head too ;)
