If I had a nickel for every time I heard Calvino mentioned while I was at Goddard this summer, I'd be able to quit this shitty job of mine. Your mention is the straw that broke the camel's back--I stopped at the library this afternoon and borrowed their copy. I need something to write about for the the second 5-page paper anyway, so what the heck.

Hopefully I'll like it--I'd hate to find some things I like and then end up back with something else well-recommended that it turns out I just don't get. :-\
