And I'm so glad you fanwanked Thatcher's character into making sense! I was really hating her by the end of the fourth season.

Yeah, I tried to stay as far away from the pod person she was replaced by for S3/4 as possible. I like to think that the Thatcher in this story is who was hiding under that prickly exterior in S2. (Possibly because just about the only insights into her character we ever get come in WATE, which I used as something of a springboard...)

Also, the fact that you didn't let Frobisher's gas accompany him into the afterlife? THANK YOU.

OMG, yes. I thought the death-by-food-poisoning was quite enough reference to that aspect of his character.
