I was inspired by reading this fic, which is All About Janeway's Hair, and there's a fantastic scene in it where Janeway whisks her hair into a braid and amazes Chakotay with the swiftness and ease she does it with. I always loved her hair in the braid (or her later ponytail) too, and this little scene popped into my head because of that, I guess.
I'm very surprised you're doing Voy fics, though. ^^
Oh, god, I wrote probably fifteen or twenty--some pretty long ones, too--when I was a teenager. All of them have been CONSIGNED TO THE FLAMES now, because ow, they were written when I was like fourteen, but...yeah. I think the first fic I ever wrote was a Voyager fic, come to think of it.
It's kind of fun to revisit, actually. They were all so cute and optimistic back in the day!
