Oh, I took the GRE the month after we graduated, back when I was still thinking I was going to go to library school. Suffered through the Subject GRE two months ago. NOT my finest hour.

Actually, if you get into a doctoral program, your tuition is generally paid, and you're pretty much guaranteed some combination of fellowships and TAships for living expenses. Some masters' programs have this setup as well, although generally there's less money to go around. Hence my socking it away while I can...
