See, that's exactly why I left. Janeway and Chakotay. I was a serious JC'er at one point, but in season 3, I felt they took them in a direction they would never return from, and I just gave up. Janeway was more content to have sex with make-believe men on the holodeck. The writing was lousy. "The Chute" is, without any doubt, the gayest Star Trek episode ever written. Gayer than two guys having sex in a gay bar parking lot, and that's a WHOLE lot of gay. *g*

I think I left right after that, returned briefly for "The Q And The Grey" because it was just too funny (and Suzi Plakson is a hoot and a half), then returned again for "Scorpion", which was really good. Looking back, I think season 4 has to be a favorite. Kind of makes me want to go dig up episodes now.
