BSG 4.05: The Road Less Traveled
May. 2nd, 2008 10:00 pmSo...yes. Not a whole lot happened there, except for the last five minutes (and, let's face it, that had been telegraphed since Day 1 on that ship). Seeing Leoben is awlays nice, though. He, along with Cavil, is probably my favorite Cylon.
- So Kara hears a sound? I thought it was a "feeling." CURIOUSER AND CURIOUSER. Could the sound perhaps be the chorus of "All Along the Watchtower"?
- I admit, I cheered on that lady who threw Baltar's many guilts into his face. Bwahahaha.
- Uh...Baltar has his own version of The 700 Club now? (Carnivale watchers, does he not remind you more and more of Justin Crowe with every episode? Perhaps a Brother Justin with less of a plan...)
- Oh, Chief. The shaved head is not a good look for you.
- Hmmm...Nicky seems interested in Baltar's speechifying. I WONDER WHY.
- Yay for piloting action!
- I always enjoy scenes between Kara and Leoben. If she has to hook up with someone, I'd like it to be him.
- Uh, Tory? Is there a reason you're planting ideas about Cally being killed intentionally and knowing about everyone's Cylonitude in the Chief's head? Because that seems like a bad idea.
- Of course, you are becoming the new Baltar, and we all know how much sense he has...
- Okay, in the scene where Anders is beating up Leoben and the camera pulls back to show his face backlit in green, he looks disturbingly like Paul Gross. I'm going to assume that's the carryover from seeing CKR in that scene...
- Uh, Kara? I'm pretty sure you don't want to take the Cylons with you to Earth. That would not go over well. "Hi! We're your long-lost cousins. Our planets got blown up, so can we crash here for a while? ...Oh, them? They're the people who blew up our planets. But they've reformed now!" *immediate nuke deployment*
- Yaaaaaaay, Tyrol! Heh, one of these days, someone will finally succeed in breaking Baltar's weasly little neck.
- Boooo, Tyrol! I was so hoping he would shoot Baltar in the back in that scene. I am perhaps a touch vindictive.
- Question. Why the hell can't Kara just take a freaking Viper and go find Earth if they're so close? It would neatly avoid this mutiny question.
- Hmm. That preview seemed to give away a lot. I wonder exactly how shocking next week will be to make up for it...
