Date: 2008-05-03 11:13 pm (UTC)Indeed I will. I would have preferred a brighter color, but this appeared to be the best-maintained, least-driven one that I was going to get within my budget, so I took it. It does at least have daytime running lights, which should help with visibility. (I'm tempted to stick neon orange phosphorescent strips on it or something, but perhaps that would be going too far. ;))

Heh. Perhaps...

Date: 2008-05-04 12:30 am (UTC)I believe these are standard on all Camrys for 2005--the manual seems to indicate as such--although I have an "LE" edition, so I may have features that aren't standard. (Doubtful, for what I paid, but you never know.) It also seems that they've started making ABS standard for all mid-sized car offerings--I looked at probably ten or twelve Camrys and Accords, all from the last three years, and I didn't see any of them without the ABS. Pretty sure you would still have to sell your soul to get them on the Corolla or Civic, though.

Date: 2008-05-04 11:24 pm (UTC)Yeah, the dark color does take it away from "grad student" and more into "white collar job-holder," doesn't it?
like it should be part of a motorcade transporting visiting Scandinavian diplomats. Or something.
Heh. Perhaps it was, in its former life. I think it was a company car before it got to me...

About double what yours did. Plus 10% sales tax, which adds another $1,000+.

"Beccamobile"? Eh, boring. "The Lively Tomato" is interesting, although it has connotations of squishing, which is not something I want in a car...
