I'm afraid to ask, but has anything else happened today? At last count, three friends lost a friend or family member, another lost a dog, and one had a health scare. All this week and this doesn't count recent weather stuff. :( *sends good thoughts*

fairygnomes (affected several people), and Auggy the Doggy on the "loss" list, plus there's flooding in Iowa, another LJ friend's mom is going through pretty painful surgery, and just now another LJ/Kenyon friend heard the day before the first summer school session starts that someone else is taking her place teaching it.

I'm guessing the apocalypse is just around the corner.

Yeah, that's pretty much the news I'm hearing too. The third death was a friend's aunt -- fricking tree branch fell on her head when she was out for a walk. I don't understand it at all.

I swear it going to be the appocolyps soon, what with the floods in iwoa, the mine collaps, those 2 little girls, the tornados, and now Tim Russert. Not to mention Myanmar's devestating storm and the earthquake in China. this is a trend that needs to stop. Now.
