This song by Stars is telling me it would like to be a vid. Most likely an Adama/Roslin vid, but also perhaps John/Aeryn or Geoffrey/Ellen, depending on how metaphorically one reads "war" in the last line of monologue.

...It occurs to me that I do in fact have all the source material for that last one. Hmm. *ponders*

I was kind of surprised to find myself listening to this band, but the synthesizers won me over. Hey, I hold a special place in my heart for The Cure; it was to be expected. Generally I find the vast majority of these so-called "indie pop" bands rather a lot too precious and pretentious to stomach, and the emo makes me want to throw things, but I really like that song, and some of the others off the In Our Bedroom After the War album*. Alas, most of the lyrics fall well on the side of "heartfelt, yet nonsensical," but...it sounds nice, anyway.

* I love that title. I don't know that I can explain why, but I love it and wish I had thought of it.

I like their song The Riot a lot. There's a lot of good indie coming out of Montreal right now - The Stars, Metric, Feist...
