Well, I was thinking it was in the fifth season, so there's that, at least.
Oh, man, totally. Half the characters are much more socially awkward than you are in some way or another. I find it very endearing.
And perhaps disturbing, in a "you might think about counseling for that" sort of way.
There's a lot of ridiculousness -- sometimes there is a need for a "nothing works that way!" sign -- but it's a very fun show. I truly have a fondness for all of the characters.
I knew from the first shot of their shiny, shiny lab with all the shiny, shiny equipment that all the shiny was obviously there to make up for seriously shoddy science. :D
