I've gone through about 2.13-4.11 in the past four days, so maybe I'm losing perspective, but I've really wanted to stab Brennan in the face in season four.
I think you're fine, because I've wanted to stab her in the face for all of S4. Except he last two episodes. She was fine then.
She's crossing the line from childlike idealism into childlike spoiledness -- she's no longer willing to subject her own opinions to rational inquiry.
THIS.
That's why we need Sweets: because Brennan isn't willing to question herself anymore. Grrr.
I have to disagree that we ever need Sweets for anything, but something needs to be done.
I'm glad that they've finally decided which part of Pennsylvania Booth is from, but dang, that took them awhile.
Yeeeeah.
Well, she's doing it to get at Booth -- but it's really sad that her character is to the point where getting the last word trumps unbiased inquiry.
She used to be able to get at Booth in the car and not bring it into the freakin' church! I know there was an episode where they were in church together, alone, and she needled him for a bit but eventually settled down to let him do what he needed to do.
(I didn't really notice the disrespect, though, because I spent too much time yelling the correct pronouns at Booth. Meh.)
Awww.
I thought that was set up very well, actually. Wasn't Roxy the only person Angela told her real name, according to the PI way back when? And Angela's been really really obviously bi all along.
I just have so much hate for the breakup-from-nowhere with Hodgins, and her subsequent dictating of terms for how they're going to relate to each other, without ever seeking or accepting any kind of input from him. Also, this is so obviously a fill-up-time-until-we-get-Angela-and-Hodgins-back-together move. Bleh.
no subject
