I have to disagree that we ever need Sweets for anything

I dunno what happened. He uses the word 'mega-dangerous' once, and suddenly I'm ok with all the giant flaws in his character.

I know there was an episode where they were in church together, alone, and she needled him for a bit but eventually settled down to let him do what he needed to do.

Only because she got distracted by a bright shiny murder weapon. Unless I'm thinking of a different Brennen-is-annoying-about-religion episode.

I just have so much hate for the breakup-from-nowhere with Hodgins, and her subsequent dictating of terms for how they're going to relate to each other, without ever seeking or accepting any kind of input from him.

True, but it's completely in-character for both of them. It would be strange if Angela broke up with him for a logical reason, or if Hodgins didn't just quietly deal with it.

Also, this is so obviously a fill-up-time-until-we-get-Angela-and-Hodgins-back-together move. Bleh.

Totally is. If they actually devoted time to it, though, it could be interesting.
