I hear the trick to that is changing to "plus," uploading the mood theme in one of the ways above, and then changing back to "basic." It'll keep your new theme, but no obnoxious ads.

Ooh, clever! Now I just need to get through the rest of canon so the full set of icons won't spoil me...
