That is a really good question. I guess perhaps we're meant to infer that they tried it offscreen and found it didn't work twice? Or...was the blood originally given when hera was still a fetus, or after she was born? If she still had Athena's immune system goodies swimming in her system the first time, that might have some kind of effect on the potency of her blood as a cancer cure.
Given all the God stuff with the Cylons, I found myself wondering, while looking at the Mary/Baby Jesus paintings at the National Gallery last spring, if they're mirroring that idea somehow--that the god can't reproduce in human form on its own, and therefore needs humans as part of the equation.
...Oh. I like that. In your theory, are you equating the Cylons with God, or are both Cylon and human parents being used by God to reproduce part of itself?
I'm not sure why they'd bring resurrection back, really. Not after going to such lengths to kill it.
Well, this would be many centuries in the future, when they've forgotten the earlier cycles of death and destruction. All of this has happened before... (I think Ron Moore is too much of a magnificent bastard to give us a resolution that breaks the cycle.)

I think the Lords of Kobol getting involved would be...pushing things. Direct involvement, anyway. Indirect things like Hera's stars I could buy. Actual gods? Uh-uh.
I still feel like we could see them somehow. They're referred to often enough as active agents in the old texts. Plus I would like to see it just 'cause it sounds neat.
I am trying to remember if there was ever anyone in the opera house visions who could have been Kara, and failing. Do you remember?
I don't really remember the opera house visions as well as I should. I recall there were lots of places where bright light obscured everything, and she might have been hiding there...
