Still highway robbery, though. These are crappy paperbacks with broken bindings and wrinkled pages. They would be worth about 50 cents in a used bookstore.

Quick math. It comes to an average of almost $14 per book. For books in condition that bad, it really is ridiculous. Although if you tried to sell the books back you'd probably get a quarter for each book.

Actually, only half of these are for my two English classes. The others are for my hsitory and Bio in Sci-Fi classes. Scary, huh?
