You are lucky. I paid $250 for four.

Yes. Four.

4.

As in, the number after 3.

$177.58 for one.

One.

I feel like my book prices are akin to Congress' Appropriations Bills. Because then the exorbitant prices for no apparent reason would at least make sense.

I started out at about $150 for my books. But my French book is going to be about $50 and I still have to be a History of Russia. Oh well.

Last year I spent something like $340 on five books, I think. And then one of them was stolen. Never replaced.

This year I'm at $272 for 12. But I'm going to get about $45 back when I return the 3 Medieval books.

I suppose I'm just echoing the sentiment that $376 is a great price for 27 books. I'm just glad I'm not an English major so I never have to buy 27 books at once.
