Yeah, I liked it better when we weren't sure if the Head!Characters were hallucinations or actual angels, and whether the monotheistic, polytheistic, or atheistic viewpoints were correct. Ambiguity is better.

Me too. I really feel like that loose end was to the detriment of the story. It wasn't ambiguous in a good way, you know? Especially since RDM did take a definitive stance about religion, at least in my opinion.
Now that I've had time for some fanwanking, I'm a bit more accepting of it, but I still would've liked something more definite.
