You know, I was thinking about the impact of the war, and you're right--humanity probably would be more xenophobic than usual in these times. However, I still have two criticisms: one, it's easy to forget that the war ever happened, because things are going so well between Delenn and Lennier and the humans on B5, so a little more reference to the effects it had on humanity would not go amiss; two, my comment about needing an equivalent to the USSR, the Jews, etc. still stands. Is it just aliens in general? I do recall Clark mouthing something about helping Earth first, aliens second, but I could've used something more explicit than that. And it still doesn't totally explain the "ideologically pure" comment from the political officer. What bad ideologies are they rooting out? What's the good ideology they're promoting?
