Hem has a Twitter feed now, and of course I've had to start obsessively checking it, particularly since they're updating from the studio where they're recording a new album(!!). Dan (I assume), just posted this about one of the new songs: "'Last Call' also just punched 'Pacific Street' in the nose for good measure..."

I'm very intrigued. Apparently that song was also "having it out with 'When I Was Drinking.'" Hmmm...

Speaking of Hem, I was very surprised to hear one of their songs used in a commercial recently. I think it was "Half Acre", but I don't remember what the commercial was for.

It's a Liberty Mutual commercial--they've used five Hem songs to date. :)

By the way, an unmastered song from the new album is up at their MySpace. Eeee!
