I don't think Lorien is Jesus so much as Sheridan is Jesus?
Well, there that as well. I almost said Lorien was God (or rather Illuvatar, since this is all so LOTRish anyway), but he didn't create the younger races, so...Jesus seemed to fit better? Nothing's a perfect match, but some of the similarities were striking.
he Zack/Lyta thing made me all hyper all the time because I was all "THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN TALIA AND GARIBALDI!" because I luv them foreva.
...There are people out there who like Talia/Garibaldi? Wow. Personally, I can't stand her, mostly because of the actress. (Also, I still ship Ivanova/Garibaldi. I also ship Ivanova/Marcus. It's a strange experience.)
However, I adore Lyta like CRAZY, so it's all okay. :)
Lyta is a lot more awesome than Talia, IMO.
Lyta's life SUCKS. And I love whenever she points that out to people.
