*SIGH* I think it may have less to do with sekrit chemistry and more to do with... well... I was only 12, and not really that sophisticated, and so I appreciated the OBVIOUSNESS of it all (He's all "I LIKE U CUZ UR PRETTY!" and she's all "OH SCREW OFF"). Also, telepaths! Yay.
Haha. That may explain some of my early pairings as well...
I hadn't seen "The Gathering" so did not know that there was a redheaded telepath out there that I should love even more.
I still haven't quite managed to see that. Oops?
I could swear I've seen Susan/Michael running around out there (maybe by leyenn or her frenz?) but maybe it was just "Susan and Talia hook up, and Michael kind of wants them both."
...I could possibly get behind that maybe? Even though I hate Talia as a character, I don't entirely mind Susan/Talia (although I like both Susan/Michael and Susan/Marcus better). I think the only time I actually thought Talia was interesting was once the alternate personality took over. Um.
If you ever get really super desperate, I'll totally trade you. ;)
Oooh.
HA. Well. Okay, I really went for that, too, because as a young teen I went for things that were very inyourface. (Seriously -- what young teenage girl doesn't want a romance like that?? He's all lovey-dovey and shmoopy at her. It's like he took lessons from Clark Kent.)
I, uh, recently characterized him as "like an underwear model--very bland." You may be able to guess my level of interest in him from that. *g* Although he grew into the role, and I do think he's quite good as far as plot-like, blowin' stuff up things go. Just...kinda boring with Delenn. (She, on the other hand, I totally buy in that relationship. She's adorable when she's in love.)
I remember at the beginning of the show being all "Sinclair/Delenn, y/y?" because they had that "haha, you guys totally got married by accident with that red fruit thing!"
*snerk*
and they had INTRIGUE, and then HE IS HER GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER.
Wait, what? He IS? Is that later in the series, or did I just totally miss it in WWE?
Oh. Yeah. I also LOVED Catherine Sakai. So clearly, I didn't have high standards for acting ability, or non-ridiculous dialogue.
Wooooow. (Actually, I didn't think she was so bad. She was better than Sinclair, anyway.)
OH, B5. How I love you in spite of yourself!
Yes! (I've been thinking all along about how it would be so awesome to see B5 done with the production values and good acting skillz of BSG. It would be so awesome we wouldn't need any other TV after it. It would all be downhill from there.)
It's v. short, and not exactly explained: discontinuity.

Awesome.
