B5 Fic Rec

I have to admit, I'm finding it a bit difficult to read Ivanova/Marcus fic. The unrequited quality of their relationship is just so perfect, I hate to shatter it with fic that actually puts them together. However, I did highly enjoy what we saw of them before "Endgame," and have been wanting some fic that features their snark and/or Marcus driving Susan absolutely nuts. The following two by Samuraiko fit the bill perfectly, and are OMG funny: Coffee Stirrers and Karmic Debt - Marcus decides to expand his organizational chart into three dimensions, much to Ivanova's annoyance. In the sequel, Susan gets to see exactly what he's been working on.

(I also read JMS's short story "Space, Time, and the Incurable Romantic," and...okay, part of me went "awww," but a larger part of me went, "If, about ten minutes after this story ends, 'Susan' doesn't realize exactly what he's done and give him HELL, I will be most unhappy. OMG CREEPY." Which, I guess, is part of the point. Ack, though. Ack. *shudders*)

Hmmm. I need to make myself a Marcus icon. I have none. This is a sad thing.

OH MY GOD. I forgot about Marcus's org chart. I LOVED THAT SCENE. Also, I spend a ridiculously obnoxious amount of my life doing the org chart for my hugeass company every single day, so I really need to get Marcus's crazy org chart as my desktop background or something. YES. Or maybe make a little shrine at my desk, because my desktop is currently a meerkat, and that is actually cuter (hard to believe, but true!).

That is my favorite scene with them in it. FAVORITE. I laughed for DAYS.

...Why? Is turnover high enough to warrant that?

Sadly, they never actually show his orgchart, just a piece of posterboard in the background with stuff obviously pasted on it. BOO. I would very much like to see it.
