I just finished with the "Airing in the Chariot" that Pamela and Mr. B. take together once she comes back from the abortive trip to her parents, and I'm like, "I should really hate you for what you've done, but...I think you're really sweet and I want to see you two kids get married." (This was totally the first romance novel, wasn't it? I feel like it should have a lurid pink cover with a strapping shirtless man on it.)
I sincerely hope the next 200 pages are going to be them mocking the local gentry together.
