Amusingly enough, the frame story around the central plot spoils you for everything through season four--and possibly even parts of season five--so no.

"The Gathering" is the one I should'e watched before everything else. I still haven't gotten around to it, and probably never will. (There's only so much Sinclair I can stand...)
