Crusadey stuff
Jun. 30th, 2009 11:48 pmAha! I remember these episodes! (Remember how I said I shipped Gideon and Lochley hard as a teenager? These were why.)
Ruling from the Tomb
Chambers is right. It is adorable the way G&L finish each other's sentences. And thank you, Peter David, for having someone on the show point that out to Gideon. (I admit, the ship is totally forcefed to us, but I love it anyway.)
I kind of want to ship Dureena/Eilerson, but the sensible part of me knows it could only end in a trainwreck. They should totally have a one-night stand, though. (And then wake up absolutely horrified the next morning, and resolve never to speak of it again.) (Um, my icon means nothing. I'm just a sucker for images of characters dancing.Even when it's a really drunken--yet rather coordinated--cha-cha.)
Carrie Dobro very much reminds me of a slightly older Caroline Dhavernas (Jaye in Wonderfalls). I think it's a combination of the hair and the snark.
Rules of the Game
Awww, Gideon likes Elizabeth. And she's embarrassed by it. Hee.
Wow. The Lorkans are zombies. Very flamboyant zombies.
I cackled at Lochley's trick. They are so well-suited for each other.
And then JMS let out his inner twelve-year-old boy with the music and the oh-so-symbolic ship entering the docking bay after that shower scene.
Appearances and Other Deceits
Ahaha. Now Welles's little "I'm very good at sticking around" comment has considerably more resonance after knowing he headed up Nightwatch. Someone is good at PR. (Also, the same actor was Neroon(!). I would never have guessed.)
