Garibaldi's betrayal is so much worse here. In a way, I feel bad that Sheridan has to tell him Ivanova is dying, because he know he can go to her even if he really wants to.
This. His side of the story, especially at that point, would be just as angsty as hers.
And the slow way in which they recover is gorgeous and very real feeling.
Oh, I'm glad you said that. I hit a point somewhere during the writing of that where I was like, "I want this to END already," and so I rushed to meet up with the last two scenes, which I had written near the beginning. I'm glad it wasn't too obvious that I was doing that. ;)
I have a feeling deep in my heart that Bester doesn't make it through his first visit to the station in season 5.
HEH. You would be right. (If I ever write the rest of S5 in this series--and this one nearly killed me, so I'm leaning towards no on that--Bester would meet with a very unfortunate and very fatal accident.)
