DVD commentary meme
Jul. 20th, 2009 06:39 pmHeh. I just watched a squirrel make off with one of the neighbors' tomatoes. Said tomato was almost as big as the squirrel. Didn't seem to slow it down any, though.

I've been thinking on and off for some years now of participating in the DVD commentary meme. Since I've been thinking a lot about the practice of writing lately (currently trying to flesh out some ideas on present vs. past tense to post, actually), this seems like an opportune time to finally do it.
So, for those unfamiliar with the meme, here's how it works: this is the archive of every piece of fanfic I've ever written.* You pick one (or, if you want, two that are under 1500 words), comment with the title, and I will at some point in the next couple of weeks repost it with a written DVD-style commentary included. You can ask specific questions--or not--in your comment if you desire, and I will try to answer them in the commentary.
* Well, minus the really, really awful Trek series fics (and Forever Knight fics, and I think also some X-Files fics) I wrote in middle school. I have CONSIGNED THEM TO THE FLAMES, or at any rate to the virtual trash bin. I suppose you could still find them in archives or newsgroups online, assuming you know the name I used to post these things under, but you really should save yourself and not do such a thing. They are baaaaaad.
