One of the many reasons I do not wear contacts, right there. (The big one is that the one time I tried, they fell out of my eyes. No, really. It was horrible. Oh, and my astigmatism is such that I would never be able to see as well with contacts as I can with glasses, which is sad.)

I hope you've got your specs fixed by now!

I do! And I got them fixed for free, even! I will definitely be patronizing that store if I am ever in need of more intensive optometry work while living in this town.
