I agree with many of the things you said. I enjoyed the ep well enough, but came away vaguely disappointed. Maybe it's because I just got the complete dueSouth set and am working my way through it. After watching massive doses of Fraser, Deif and innuit stories current detective shows all seem so... samey.

I did like all the moment you quoted. And anyway, Alexis is a smart, responsible teen, if she also had perfect taste in music she'd just be a mary sue ;)
