She was completely self-absorbed, mean to people unless it was good for her career, and completely incapable of being decent to people she considered lesser.
For some reason, the way it was scripted and played didn't really say all that to me. It just said, "Lina is meant to be annoying and a brief impediment for the protagonists. Don't take her faults seriously." And then there was a big shift in tone during the end, and I was left going "...??? How did we get from 'pestering like a housefly' to 'laughed at by thousands'?"
