My present understanding is, I have one day of exams per question, and one question per committee member -- so three days spread out over the week (Ph.D examinees get all five). But that's still in the distant, post-rough-draft-deadline future.
Are PhD-level exams not called comps in music?
Both MA and Ph.D exams are called comps here, but I'm told our system is bizarre and unusual, so our naming may be nonstandard as well.
